About Me

I have had the privilege of working with so many talented industry professionals, in addition to developing my own unique ideas on best practices in video production. This blog is my way of giving back some of the keys I have acquired over the years.

I have worked on documentaries, television and radio commercials, music albums, live audio mixing and recording, theater sound design, corporate video, a reality TV show, and a major motion picture. Most of my career has been in documentary-style video: promotional, development, marketing, and training videos for corporate, medical, educational, religious, and non-profit clients. My work has taken me to sixteen states and eleven countries and has garnered multiple industry awards. I have experience mentoring, speaking, and leading training on media production in a number of venues.

I received an M.S. in Communication from Purdue University, a B.A. in Film, Television, and Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, and a certificate in audio engineering from The Recording Workshop.

Please take a look around and let me know what you think in the comments! I hope you find something useful for you.
